Caught up in romance Am I wasting my years here Is this what I want?

The complexities Of our dynamic here Is taking a toll.

Starry night in glass Drink your gin, but not too fast! Alone in your heart.

Time is escaping Your heart is racing to move To be happier.

The urge to give up The want to step away and Hide under my bed.

Whispers in the night Wine to drown the misery Echo hurt feelings

Garden thorns pick me I rush to get away and Blood streams in the wind

Wait to waste away Hold onto trivial things To keep you going.

The eyes felt hollow Sunken behind sullen cheeks Lips pressed so tightly.

Take a breath and wait. Your lungs might be filled with hate. There’s a solution.
