Wind cuts skin like knives life threatens; hope can’t survive Swallowed whole by pain

Stormy cloud has come to penetrate a lost heart to cut my breath short.

Winter skies has come to the landscape of my mind making my sights blue.

Reach into my heart And see, you light up this void This empty, this me.

Life transitions come Sometimes without warning we Are forced to rise up.

Moments shatter quick Time you lose as seconds drift How long do we have?

Can I rescue me From all the deep emotions That can’t transcend time?

I read your letter I cried; you sounded sorry That’s all I wanted.

Let the anger die. Fill your eyes and cry to say, “I just care for you.”

Oh how I yearn and Yet time escapes me. I fill It up. Hollow, still.
