Stormy cloud has come to penetrate a lost heart to cut my breath short.

Winter skies has come to the landscape of my mind making my sights blue.

Snow fell to the Earth Magic, cold, quiet seconds Erasing the past.

If I bled in ink The scars would be etched in skin Visible to all.

Reach into my heart And see, you light up this void This empty, this me.

An empty casing. My heart is shaking. Please stop. This ride seems pointless.

Hold on to my heart Guard it with your whole being And I’ll protect yours.

Hit me with the old Nostalgia hits just right I fight with what’s new.

Life transitions come Sometimes without warning we Are forced to rise up.

Caught up in romance Am I wasting my years here Is this what I want?
