Puzzle

The day is marked by grey clouds,

Suffocating the sky.

Later it’ll rain,

But the day is warming my soul.

Hard times are far behind

Me.

Losing the trail of bad luck

That once stuck around,

Finally safe

And sound.

Reality

Is lightening up

Did I think it was so serious before?

Why did it feel so heavy before?

A calamity

Is a frightening club

To be part of,

What in the world am I fighting for?

Why did it feel so heavy before?

But so,

we let go

Of all the trauma and the pain

Of all the stuff that got you stuck in the same

Old same old, do you want to find gold —

Then you have to hunt, grind, and hustle.

Life doesn’t have to be a puzzle.
